This 126610LV, introduced 2020, represents current-generation specifications: 41mm case, ceramic bezel, calibre 3235 movement, refined proportions. Green bezel, black dial. Functional tool watch that happens to be instantly recognisable.

The green bezel traces back to 2003 when Rolex celebrated the Submariner's 50th anniversary with the first green-bezelled reference. That model paired green aluminium bezel with black dial. The configuration worked—distinctive without being garish, recognisable without screaming for attention. This 126610LV updates that formula with ceramic Cerachrom instead of aluminium, improving scratch resistance whilst maintaining the colour that's become synonymous with Submariner heritage. The platinum-coated numerals and graduations ensure legibility whilst adding subtle lustre.

Forty-one millimetres represents a half-millimetre increase over the previous 40mm generation—barely noticeable in isolation, but combined with refined lug geometry and increased bracelet width, the watch wears differently. Slimmer lugs, more taper, better integration between case and bracelet. The lug width grew from 20mm to 21mm, improving proportions without adding bulk. Oystersteel throughout—Rolex's proprietary 904L alloy that resists corrosion better than standard 316L steel used by most manufacturers.
