Rolex GMT Master II 'Rootbeer'

The GMT-Master II “Root Beer” is one of Rolex’s most distinctive modern sports watches, combining precious metal warmth with genuine everyday functionality. This reference pairs Oystersteel with 18ct Everose gold, giving the watch a richer presence on the wrist without feeling overly bold.

The black dial is clean and highly legible, with applied hour markers and Mercedes hands filled with luminous material. The brown and black Cerachrom bezel is both scratch-resistant and colourfast, allowing easy tracking of a second time zone via the independently adjustable GMT hand.

Inside is the Rolex calibre 3285, a modern manufacture movement designed for long-term performance. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, delivers a 70-hour power reserve, and meets Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer standard for accuracy, reliability, and durability.

The watch is fitted to the matching two-tone Oyster bracelet, secured with an Oysterclasp and Easylink extension for on-the-fly comfort adjustment. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, making it suitable for daily wear and travel use.

Purchased in 2018, this example is presented in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of careful use. It is supplied as a full set with original box and papers.
