Rolex Deepsea 136660

The Deepsea is Rolex's most extreme production dive watch — a professional saturation diver engineered with the brand's patented Ringlock System to deliver water resistance of 3,900 metres. Reference 136660 is the latest generation, introduced with a slimmed bezel, refined proportions and improved wrist presence over its predecessors.

The 44mm Oystersteel case is built around a nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel compression ring, a domed sapphire crystal more than five millimetres thick and a titanium case back — the three components that constitute the Ringlock System. A unidirectional rotating bezel in black Cerachrom ceramic frames the dial, and a helium escape valve at nine o'clock allows trapped gas to escape during saturation diving decompression.

The black lacquer dial carries applied Chromalight hour markers and broad Mercedes hands filled with the same blue-emitting luminescence, alongside the depth rating and Deepsea wordmark in white. A date aperture at three o'clock is magnified by the Cyclops lens.

Calibre 3235 is Rolex's current-generation Superlative Chronometer movement, featuring the Chronergy escapement and Parachrom hairspring for enhanced shock and magnetic resistance. Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 31 jewels, it delivers approximately seventy hours of power reserve and is certified accurate to within minus two to plus two seconds per day.

Presented on the Oystersteel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp, Glidelock fine adjustment and Fliplock extension link for wear over a diving suit.

Unworn condition from 2025 means factory-fresh — protective stickers may still be in place, with no signs of wear. Complete as a full set with original box and papers dated December 2025. The five-year Rolex manufacturer's warranty remains active until December 2030.

The Deepsea remains the benchmark for production deep-sea watchmaking — a watch built to engineering tolerances most owners will never test, and worn for exactly that reason.
