The 40 mm Oyster case is crafted from 18 ct Everose gold, Rolex’s proprietary rose-gold alloy, developed to maintain its warm hue over time. It features a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale for precise average-speed measurement. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres, supported by a screw-down crown and pushers.

The standout feature of this model is its chocolate brown sunburst dial, paired with black sub-dials that create striking contrast and depth. Applied Everose-gold hour markers and hands are filled with Chromalight, glowing with a long-lasting blue luminescence. The three chronograph counters — 30-minute, 12-hour, and running seconds — are balanced perfectly across the dial.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 4130, a self-winding chronograph movement entirely designed and manufactured in-house. It features a vertical clutch and column wheel for seamless operation and a 72-hour power reserve. Certified as a Superlative Chronometer, it guarantees accuracy within −2/+2 seconds per day.

This example is fitted with the Oysterflex bracelet, a high-performance black elastomer strap reinforced by a flexible metal blade. It is secured with an 18 ct Everose-gold Oysterlock clasp, featuring the Easylink comfort extension system for instant adjustment.
