The gold-tone dial features factory-set diamond hour markers, each precisely positioned and secured by Rolex's gem-setting department in Geneva. Chromalight luminous hands sweep across the dial, with the day of the week spelt out in full through an arc-shaped aperture at twelve o'clock and the date displayed at three.

Inside, the calibre 3255 automatic movement houses 31 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and delivers 70 hours of power reserve. It carries Superlative Chronometer certification, tested to -2/+2 seconds per day, and features Rolex's Chronergy escapement and Parachrom hairspring.
