The Datejust launched 1945 as world's first wristwatch displaying date changing automatically at midnight. The reference 16233 represents two-tone "Rolesor" configuration combining stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold. The 16233 produced 1988-2005 represents final generation before six-digit references.
