Omega Speedmaster

The Speedmaster Professional launched 1957 as motorsport chronograph. NASA certified it 1965 for manned space missions following rigorous testing. This reference represents current-generation Moonwatch with updated Calibre 3861 maintaining manual-winding heritage and space qualification.

Forty-two millimetres in stainless steel with brushed finishing. Asymmetric case with crown guards protecting pushers. Fixed tachymetre bezel with black aluminium insert measuring average speeds to 500 units per hour. Hesalite crystal front maintaining original Moonwatch specification. Solid caseback engraved with seahorse medallion and "Flight-Qualified by NASA for All Manned Space Missions" and "The First Watch Worn on the Moon". Fifty metres water resistance.

Black dial with applied hour markers and luminous coating. Three subdials—running seconds at nine o'clock, thirty-minute counter at three o'clock, twelve-hour counter at six o'clock. Inside sits Calibre 3861—Omega's updated manual-winding chronograph based on legendary 861/1861 architecture. Manual winding requires daily interaction. Fifty-hour power reserve. Master Chronometer certified by METAS—0 to +5 seconds daily accuracy, 15,000 gauss antimagnetic resistance.

Stainless steel bracelet with five-link construction and brushed finishing. Folding safety clasp. Excellent condition from 2024 means minimal wear—expect light surface marks on bracelet, maintained nearly new condition. Full set includes Omega presentation box, warranty card dated 2024, booklets, NATO strap. Five-year manufacturer's warranty active.
