Omega Seamaster "Pre-Bond"
This Omega Seamaster 368.1061 “Pre‑Bond” is dated circa 1992–94 and comes in good condition with full box and papers. It stands out as a vintage classic in Omega’s professional diver line.
The 40 mm stainless steel tonneau-shaped case features brushed and polished finishes. It’s equipped with a unidirectional black bezel, engraved for elapsed diver timing, and wears a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops date lens. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres (20 ATM).
The dial is glossy black with luminous baton and round markers. Skeleton-style hands are also lume-filled for night-time visibility, and the date appears clearly at 3 o’clock.
Inside is the Omega calibre 1109 automatic chronometer movement, based on the trusted ETA 2892‑2. It features 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, and delivers approximately 44 hours of power reserve.
The watch is fitted with the original solid stainless-steel bracelet, complete with diver extension and secure tri-fold clasp.
This is one of Omega’s earlier professional dive watches—made just before the modern Seamaster “Bond” era. Its distinctive retro styling, strong movement pedigree, and enduring collector appeal make it a desirable vintage piece in excellent wearable condition.
