Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph

This Planet Ocean Chronograph is from the first generation of Omega’s larger professional dive chronographs. The 45.5 mm stainless steel case has strong wrist presence and is built to true dive-watch standards, including a helium escape valve at ten o’clock and a solid 600-metre water resistance rating.

The black dial features applied hour markers with luminous fill, Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9, and a tri-compax chronograph layout. The date is positioned between four and five o’clock. The black aluminium bezel insert frames the dial with clear, high-contrast dive markings.

Inside is the Omega calibre 3313 automatic chronograph movement, a COSC-certified chronometer running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It combines column-wheel chronograph architecture with Omega’s early Co-Axial technology.

The watch is fitted to a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and diver’s extension. This example shows visible wear consistent with regular use, particularly across the bracelet and bezel, but retains its strong tool-watch character.
