The 39.8 mm case is crafted from stainless steel coated in black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon), giving it a matte finish that is both durable and contemporary. The ADLC coating enhances scratch resistance while lending the watch its bold, stealth-inspired aesthetic. The classic Santos profile — defined by its square bezel with exposed screws — is preserved, maintaining a perfect blend of tradition and modern design.

The skeletonised dial showcases the in-house manual-winding calibre 9612 MC, visible through the sapphire crystal. The movement’s bridges form the Roman numerals XII, III, VI, and IX — a signature Cartier innovation. The luminous coating on these bridges allows the movement architecture to glow in the dark, giving the watch its “Noctambule” (night owl) name.
