The Navitimer has been Breitling's flagship pilot's watch since 1952, built around the circular slide rule bezel that allows pilots to perform airborne calculations — flight time, fuel consumption, rate of climb, and unit conversions — without additional instruments. The B01 variant replaces the historically outsourced movements with Breitling's own manufacture calibre, a meaningful shift for a watch with this much heritage.

The 46mm stainless steel case houses a bidirectional rotating bezel carrying the full circular slide rule scale — functional, not decorative. A screw-down crown and water resistance to 30 metres keep the case sealed during everyday wear. The sapphire crystal sits flat against the dial, preserving legibility across the busy layout beneath it.

The black dial organises the chronograph counters in the classic Navitimer arrangement — 30-minute elapsed time at 3 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6, and running seconds at 9. A date window sits at 4:30. Applied hour markers and contrasting sub-dial registers maintain legibility despite the density of information on display.

Calibre B01 is Breitling's in-house manufacture chronograph movement — COSC-certified to ±4 seconds daily, running at 28,800 vph with 47 jewels and a 70-hour power reserve. Column wheel and vertical clutch construction deliver smooth chronograph engagement and accurate timing performance.

The three-link Rouleaux bracelet is the natural pairing for this reference, echoing the circular motifs of the dial and bezel. A folding clasp with safety push-buttons secures the fit.

Excellent condition means minimal wear — expect light surface marks on the bracelet, maintained to near-new condition throughout.
