Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41

The Navitimer launched 1952 becoming Breitling's signature pilot's watch—slide rule bezel allowing in-flight calculations before electronic navigation. The B01 Chronograph 41 introduced 2021 downsized proportions from traditional forty-three/forty-six millimetre cases whilst incorporating Breitling's manufacture movement. The green dial variant represents contemporary colour choice within historically conservative pilot's watch category.

Forty-one millimetres in stainless steel. Bidirectional rotating slide rule bezel—circular slide rule calculating multiplication, division, fuel consumption, climb rates, conversions through alignment of twin numerical scales. Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Exhibition caseback revealing B01 movement. Screw-down crown and chronograph pushers. Thirty metres water resistance.

Green dial features applied hour markers with luminous coating. Three chronograph subdials—thirty-minute counter at three o'clock, twelve-hour counter at six o'clock (sharing space with date window), running seconds at nine o'clock. Silver-toned subdials create contrast against green main dial. The characteristic Navitimer layout maintains information-dense instrument aesthetic.

Inside sits Breitling Calibre B01—manufacture automatic chronograph. Column wheel construction, vertical clutch, seventy-hour power reserve. COSC certified chronometer maintaining -4/+6 seconds daily accuracy. Twenty-eight jewels, 28,800 vph. The B01 provides manufacture credentials whilst maintaining aviation heritage through proven chronograph architecture.

Brown leather strap with pin buckle complements green dial through vintage aesthetic—warm tones suggesting mid-century aviation whilst maintaining contemporary colour palette. Twenty-two millimetre lug width. The leather requires periodic replacement depending on wear frequency.
