Enquire Now
The Royal Oak Open Worked 15407ST is Audemars Piguet's skeletonised execution of the reference that defined modern luxury sports watchmaking. Reference 15407ST was introduced in 2016 to mark the debut of the brand's double balance wheel technology — paired with the open-worked aesthetic that has long sat at the apex of Royal Oak craftsmanship.
The 41mm stainless steel case carries the alternating brushed and polished finish that has defined the Royal Oak since 1972, framed by the octagonal bezel and its eight hexagonal screws. A sapphire crystal sits above the open-worked dial; a second sapphire caseback exposes the calibre from the rear.
The dial is removed entirely — every component of the movement is visible from above, with the bridges, wheels, and twin balance assembly forming the visual architecture of the watch. Applied pink gold-toned hour markers and matching skeleton hands carry luminescent material for legibility.
Calibre 3132 is the heart of the reference: a self-winding manufacture movement carrying twin balance wheels mounted on the same axis, paired with two balance springs. The doubled assembly is engineered to neutralise positional error and reinforce rate stability over time. Power reserve runs to forty-five hours; finishing throughout is hand-executed across bevelled bridges, polished countersinks and circular Côtes de Genève.
Presented on the integrated stainless steel Royal Oak bracelet with AP folding clasp.
