Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Carbon

The PRX Powermatic 80 has taken the watch world by storm with its 1970s-inspired integrated design, and this particular model adds a high-tech twist.

This is a special edition featuring a forged carbon case, pieces of carbon fibre composite give the case a unique marbled black-grey texture.

Despite the material change, the case maintains the signature PRX shape: a slim tonneau profile measuring 40mm across, with the broad, flat bezel.

It’s paired with a black rubber strap, emphasising its sporty, lightweight theme. The dial is also a carbon fiber pattern (matching the case) giving a technical, textured look, and features the PRX’s applied indices and date at 3 o’clock.

Inside, it houses the Powermatic 80 automatic movement, delivering 80 hours of power reserve and visible through the exhibition caseback.

The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to 100m. This PRX “Carbon” edition is a bold fusion of retro design and modern materials. A limited contemporary statement in the PRX line that 30 highlights Tissot’s innovative side while retaining the beloved 70s aesthetics.
